Esmeraldas Refinery (Ecuador)

Wednesday, October 1 2014Energeco has completed the definition and editing of the Instructions to Bidders  (ITB) volume for the expansion of Esmeraldas Refinery in Ecuador. The ITB volume has been prepared for AXENS  Performance Programs, who developed  the Conceptual Study  for the definition of the optimal configuration of the Refinery in order to improve the quality of automotive fuel products. The Conceptual study by AXENS will be the reference document for the implementation of the contact for the execution of the detailed engineering and construction of the new facilities.

Refrigerated storage of LPG

Monday, September 1 2014Energeco shall provide technological support services to Kinetics Technology S.p.A. for the review and validation of the Basic  Engineering Design developed by an  international client  for propane and butane refrigerated storage and dispatch  facilities. The product storage facilities consist  in atmospheric refrigerated tanks with operating temperatures of -40°C and -10°C. The project scope includes the definition of the Boil Off Gas (BOG) recovery, recompression and condensation. 

Condominium Complex for Upgraders

Saturday, August 2 2014Energeco completed the cooperation with Technip Italy for the Basic Engineering Design of the Petrocarabobo Condominium Complex for PDV SA (Venezuela). A team of Energeco’s engineers, in staff at Technip Italy headquarters, has developed the basic design for the Utilities and Offsites  intended to support the operation of three Upgraders (plants that process the heavy Venezuelan crude to convert it to a synthetic crude meeting market specifications).

Ethylbenzene Plant Expansion

Friday, August 1 2014Energeco completed the cooperation with Technip Italy in joint venture with the Egyptian Company Enppi for the Front End Engineering Design  (FEED) for the expansion to a capacity of 300,000 MTA  Ethylbenzene/Styrene  monomer  of an existing  200,000 MTA Polystyrene Plant in Egypt. Energeco has taken care of the upgrading of the Waste Water Treatment system.

Friday, August 1 2014Energeco completed the cooperation with Kinetics Technology  S.p.A. for a  feasibility study  concerning the upgrading of an off-gas stream from the processing of oil shale.

ETBE Plant Russia

Monday, June 2 2014Energeco completed the cooperation with Technip Italy for the Feasibility Study for the ETBE (Ethylbenzene) plant for Petrochemical Plant Flash – NEP-LLC of Rostov on Don, Russia. In the study Energeco has taken care of Utilities and Offsites.

Feasibility study for Congo

Sunday, June 1 2014In cooperation with FARC Italia S.r.l. Energeco completed  a number of feasibility studies intended to identify the optimal plant configuration and the best technologies to be implemented in the ENI Congo  M’Boundi Oil Field  to account for varying feed characteristics. The study has covered the following areas: ·         Upgrading of treatment facilities to cope with varying Oil-to-Gas ratio and formation water rate

Expansion of Kazakhstan refinery

Sunday, December 1 2013Energeco completed the Front End Engineering Design, in cooperation with Technip Italy/ KGNT joint venture, for the revamping and modernization of the PKOP’s  Shymkent Refinery  (Kazakhstan). Energeco has developed the design for Utilities and Offsites, performing several site visits to retrieve (and complete when necessary)  existing engineering documents.   Owner’s standards (sometimes with significant differences from customary “western” standards) have been used in the design.

Verification study of King Abdullah International Airport at Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Friday, November 8 2013Energeco has completed an assessment / verification study  for Al Aswad Trading and Construction Est., a company working in the construction of King Abdullah International Airport at Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The study was requested to verify the correctness and adequacy of the hydraulic design of the Jet Fuel supply pipeline to the Airport, and of the Hydrant distribution network used to supply fuel to the aircrafts, with special regard to maximum pressure increase during transient operations.

Front End Engineering Design “Terminal Oceanic of Barra do Dande Project”

Tuesday, May 21 2013   Energeco has recently completed the execution of the Front End Engineering Design “Terminal Oceanic of Barra do Dande Project” for a Petroleum Product Depot in Angola. The Owner, Sonangol, intends to realize terminal located at Barra Do Dande, able to receive, store and dispatch petroleum products (Gasoline, Kerosene, Jet A1, Jet B, Gas Oil, Fuel Oil and LPG). The project is focused on four main objectives: • to construct and operate a marine infrastructure which accommodates the transfer of hydrocarbons into and out of tankers, respectively;
